Joy Of Dance Inspiring and Empowering Dancers
Joy Of DanceInspiring and Empowering Dancers

Ballet

Ballet is the cornerstone of all other styles of dance. It is the foundation of dance technique, grace, and elegance. Almost anything you learn in ballet can translate to other forms of dance including cheerleading and hip-hop. Ballet also teaches skills such as discipline and dedication because the technique required is precise and requires practice to improve. Ballet helps dancers focus on strength, balance, flexibility, alignment, and body control. A strong knowledge of ballet will help dancers excel in other styles of dance.

Hip-Hop

Hip-Hop is an upbeat style of dance characterized by contrasts between sharp, isolated and flowing body movements. Hip-Hop is high energy and instills rhythm and precision using a variety of styles of music. Dancers are free to express their individuality, making the movements "their own".
